Terms
Last updated 9 October 2026
Oddnaut (oddnaut.com) is run by James Bird in the United Kingdom. By playing, you agree to these terms. Questions go to hello@oddnaut.com.
Who can play
You must be 13 or over to play Oddnaut in the UK. We never ask for a date of birth, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
The game
The daily Mission is free. You can play as a guest, or save your Flight Jacket with an account. We may change the game, its rules or its content, and we try to say so in the game first.
Fair play
- One flight of each daily Mission per player.
- No bots, scripts or tricks to see prompts early, play twice or skew the crowd.
- No recruiting yourself: a share link’s recruits are other people, not your own spare devices.
- We may remove a score, a Gold Strike, a badge or a callsign, or close an account, that breaks these rules.
What’s public
- The answers pages: the day after each Mission we publish its answers: the game’s own answer names (never what anyone typed), how rare each one was, and each Gold’s first finder, named only if their Flight Jacket is public.
- Your callsign appears on public pages only while your Flight Jacket is public, and on any result card you share yourself (a Named patch carries it). You can switch the jacket off at any time.
- What you share (your result, its picture, your Named patches) goes wherever you send it.
Callsigns
Your callsign must be yours to use: nothing offensive, and no pretending to be Mission Control, another player or anyone else. We may change or remove a callsign that breaks this.
Answers and suggestions
Answers are checked against the game’s lists and, when needed, by an automated judge. Both can be wrong, which is why you can appeal. Prompt suggestions you send may be used in the game.
Corrections
If a fact, an answer list or a score looks wrong, appeal the answer from your results or the Debrief, or tell us at hello@oddnaut.com, and we’ll put it right.
No guarantees
We do our best to keep Oddnaut running and its facts right, but it’s provided as it is. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
